This Monday I made the decision to terminate our relationship with California Shakespeare Company, informing the Director that he was no longer welcome at The Elite after multiple complaints of unprofessional, openly hostile and toxic behavior towards our production staff, members of the cast, and theatre leadership.

This is not behavior that we can tolerate at The Elite, protecting our cast, volunteers, and staff is of our highest priority. We are sorry to have to close this show, but with the negative behavior and the high turnover of cast members during the production process we could not guarantee a quality production. We wish the entire cast well in their future endeavors and look forward to seeing them at auditions in 2020.
